OFFICIAL NASA PHOTO OF ASTRONAUT EDWIN (BUZZ) ALDRIN EXITING LUNAR MODULE-WITH US POSTAGE STAMP C76 AND POSTAL SERVICE HAND CANCELLATION FROM 1969!!! Up for bid is an official NASA photo described as "Astronaut Edwin E. Aldrin, Jr. comes down the ladder of the Lunar Module, ready to join Astronaut Neil A. Armstrong on the Moon's surface." This photo is from a set of 12 photos called "First Manned Lunar Landing" that was produced by the U.S Government Printing Office in 1969 for the Apollo 11 Moon Landing. This particular photo is #3 in the set of 12 and has an official photo #69-HC-680. This photo is high quality color and measures 11" x 14" on heavy paper stock. It is in excellent condition with some yellowing and some wear and tear being over 40 years old however is beautiful and is ready for framing. Once framed any wear and yellowing would be covered. The photo has no folds or bends since it was stored flat since 1969 and will be shipped flat. DESCRIPTION OF PHOTO FROM NASA: Astronaut Edwin E. Aldrin Jr., lunar module pilot, descends the steps of the Lunar Module(LM) ladder as he prepares to walk on the Moon. He had just egressed the LM. AstronautNeil A.
