Apollo-Soyuz Mission swatch of an actual piece of the ASTP Command Module #111 spacecraft of AS-210 flown in space 136 orbits around the Earth on July 15-24, 1975. It was taken from the Command Module (CM) crew compartment heat shield after splashdown, and is a very thin pressure-sensitive Kapton polyimide tape used for the spacecraft's thermal protection subsystem.
The piece is affixed to a Certificate of Authenticity, certified by Ken L. Havekotte, Owner-Appraiser of the SpaceCoast Cover Service, Merritt Island, FL. It is dated APR 18 1997.
