Apollo 9 Training-Used Final Flight Plan Book Originally from the Personal Collection of Mission Commander Jim McDivitt. An unusual small book, 5.5" x 8", of approximately 222 pages (printed one side only), three hole-punched, and held together by three binder rings. McDivitt has written on the front cover: "Apollo 9/ Final/ Flight Plan/ (Mini-style)/ Flight/ Spare/ Some Comments/ Jim McDivitt". There are various pencil annotations inside showing its use in the training process. Apollo 9 was the earth-orbit test of the lunar module, an important step toward a successful moon landing. Truly, an historical document. Included with this lot is a Certificate of Authenticity from Novaspace attesting to its origin in the "Jim McDivitt Garage Sale," signed by McDivitt.
