I am so proud to offer this beautiful soup tureen made by Arabia of Finland c1955-70. This piece is from the Crownband, or Crown Band, line and is glazed in a glossy pale blue with underglaze decoration in yellow, cadet blue, charcoal, and brown. This large tureen measures approximately 12.5 inches wide, 7 inches tall with lid, and 9.25 inches in diameter. The lid with ladle opening is in near-mint condition as is the bowl except for a faint area of crazing or stress crack near the bottom which I have tried to show in my photos. This small area has allowed some faint staining to occur inside the bowl but is almost invisible on the outside, although it shows up more after washing. This flaw is virtually unnoticeable in use but I must mention it. This is just a wonderful and rare piece of Scandinavian Modern dinnerware, offered here at a sensible price--Replacements Ltd. has only one for $280!--with no reserve or handling charge.
