Arabia Ruska Rectangular Baker This is a rare piece from the Arabia Ruska line, and it is in as-new condition. This baking dish is rectangular, approx. 14" by 9 7/8", and 2" deep. It is a really substantial piece, and rare. It was used very little, and the white Arabia Ruska mark (which has washed off on most of my pieces) is still clearly visible. As you probably know, the Ruska line was created by the gifted Finnish designer Ulla Procope, and it is no longer available in stores. It is an extremely robust earthenware, which is put through a double firing process. No two pieces are exactly alike, but when you set a table for eight, they all harmonize beautifully, like the colors of fall. (Ruska means fall in Finnish, as I understand.) Top quality made in Finland. I have listed several other Ruska pieces, combining shipping definitely saves $$.
