Black Teapot Arabia of Finland, Ulla Procope Design Vintage, Retro, Collectible, 1960's Mint Condition Up for auction is a pristine teapot designed by Ulla Procope for Arabia in the 1960's. A classic collectible, its clean lines and matte finish are quietly understated. Very zen, very today, very collectible. The teapot is about 5 inches tall to the top of the lid, and measures about 7 inches from spout to handle. Condition: This is gorgeous - it's exceptionally smooth, not a scratch on it. T are no chips or pinholes or stains or crazing -- it is like new. The bottom and inside are pristine. A priceless classic. Insurance is optional and extra at the rate of $1.65 for up to $50. Delivery time is within 4 days. You will be emailed a tracking number when the item is shipped so you can track your package. Shipping - Canada , Europe, Japan and Australian Customers: I ship using United States Post Office International Priority Mail which includes insurance to a certain limit (by weight). If more insurance is desired, it will be available on your invoice. Delivery times vary by country, but generally are within 5 days. You will be emailed a tracking number when the item is shipped so you can track your package. Shipping Discounts for Multiple Items: I combine items for cheapest shipping, but I'll need to weigh your package to figure out the combined cost, so please wait to pay until I send you an invoice if you win more than one item. Handling Fee: US and Canadian Buyers: T is no handling fee. Handling Fee: Europe, Japan , and Australia . T will be $5 Handling Fee added for total combined orders up to $100, including the shipping. The Handling Fee is $10 for combined orders $100 and over. This covers the additional PayPal charges for cross border transactions and the extra paper work for customs. Currency: US Dollars Only. According to Scandinavian Ceramaics and Glass, by George Fischler and Barrett Gould, Ulla Procope designed these black matte teapots in 1955. The book features a picture of the teapot on page 34. The quote reads: "Arabia, ca. 1955. Two teapots in the "GA" design. Designed by Ulla Procope: $150-$250" The mark on this particular teapot is 1957.
