The Arabian Nights: Their Best-Known Tales, Scribners Classic, ills. Maxfield Parrish, 1912 edited by Kate Douglas Wiggin and Nora A. Smith, ill. in color (12 full-page plates with titled tissue guards) plus color paste-on front cover ill. and color illustrated endpapers by Parrish, NY, Scribners, 1912 (1st edition was 1909...original format), about good sound square copy, hinges sound...inner front hinge starting to split, rear inner hinge is uncracked, moderate wear and age-specking to cover extremities with mild cloth fraying, front cover ill. is sunned and mildly flaked, very light unobtrusive previous owner name on front endpaper, otherwise unmarked, text is clean and bright but the tissue guards are slightly age-browned, plates are in excellent condition. I have scanned all the plates. See photographs below. We ship all of our books in boxes, and package them with great care. We have been shipping books through the mail for almost 30 years.
