This auction is for a cast iron antique toy still bank made by ARCADE in Freeport, Illinois. This is the "CASH REGISTER" bank as it is referred to among collectors. This bank is made of both cast iron and steel mesh. The sides and top are both cast iron while the center portion is the same steel mesh arcade used on the yellow cab taxi banks. This still bank measures 4 inches in height and retains approximately 80% of the original red paint with gold highlights and mesh. There are no breaks, cracks, repairs or repaint.
