Up for bids is this Really Neat ANTIQUE Cast Iron Bathtub, made by THE ARCADE MFG.CO. from FREEPORT, ILLINOIS...I'm not sure if this is a SALESMAN'S SAMPLE or a TOY, but I am guessing Salesman's Sample, as I have seen an example of an ARCADE Toy Bathtub and it didn't have a faucet, like this one...............................THIS WAS PROBABLY THE MODEL THAT CAME OUT TO REPLACE THE CLAW FOOT TUB .......... Tub measures 6" long X 1 7/8" high and 3" deep, and is marked with a # 2.... It is painted or enameled in a cream color and has a chrome colored faucet... This Item is in GREAT CONDITION, with just a bit of crackle, crazing in the tub bottom and a few areas with chipped paint, this definitely shows Age and adds Character to the piece.....probably made in the 1920's , !930's ??? Add This Great Item To Your Collection !!!! ( GREAT CONTAINER FOR POTPOURRI IN YOUR BATHROOM )..... Or use it in a DOLL HOUSE....... Check my Feedback and Bid With Confidence.....please email me with any questions ...Thanks For Looking !
