Item Description An Arcadian crested model of a WWI biplane decorated with the Colchester Coat of Arms. Approximate Size 4 ¾” long, 4” wide and just over 2” tall. Condition Excellent ~ no chips, cracks, crazing or other signs of damage and only a tiny amount of very minor wear to the gilding on the edge of the top wing. Age I guess it dates to the 1920’s/1930’s but I’m not sure about this. Maker’s Marks The bottom of the plane is marked as shown in the pictures. Comments A fairly rare and very collectible item. NOTES re POSTAGE & PACKING We have quoted for delivery by myHermes which is a tracked 3 to 5 day courier service. We would be happy to use a different service if required, but please ask for a quote as it will almost certainly be more expensive. NB Postcodes beginning IM, HS and ZE Delivery to these postcodes will cost an additional £2.00. Channel Islands Hermes do not deliver to the Channel Islands so please ask for a quote before bidding/buying. Delivery to some other areas (e.g. Northern Ireland ) may take a day or two longer than quoted but there is no P&P surcharge for these areas. The courier will attempt delivery three times. If you have a secure place (e.g. neighbour/shed/porch) where you would like the courier to leave your parcel if you’re not in when they try to deliver it, please let me know
