Graceful lidded patinated bronze wine or water vessel, a miniature vintage reproduction.

The archaic style wine jug is decorated with ancient geometric designs, dragon handles and a twisted wire finial. The lid is removable.

Height 4Â"; Diameter at widest 3 Â½Â". In excellent vintage condition. We see no flaws.

We think this is a truly marvellous piece.

This is probably a souvenir from a Chinese National Museum , several of which my father frequented.

We sell what we like, and we will be offering many pieces from our own collections over the next while for the usual - moving and downsizing.

Please ask your questions before bidding. We frequently do antique shows on weekends, so would appreciate it if youÂ'd ask questions Monday to Friday. We have always answered weekend questions, but please be patient.

Shipping, Handling and Insurance

We take the utmost care in packing our customersÂ' purchases. We ship worldwide.

We invoice on Sundays and Mondays. Items are shipped at least weekly (and sometimes twice), generally on Wednesdays - we request you make payment for your purchases by Tuesday evening so we can ship to you in a timely manner, instead of making you wait for an additional week. Shipping and handling are at cost and will be quoted in advance to our customers on request. We ship Canada Post, as well as other shippers on request. WE WILL HAPPILY COMBINE SHIPPING ON ITEMS PURCHASED WITHIN A WEEK OF ONE ANOTHER. Just let us know your intentions.

Shipping times for surface are as follows: US/Canada 1-2 weeks; UK 4-6 weeks; Europe/Australia 6-12 weeks. We can assure you that air transit is far superior to surface, and the cost is generally only slightly higher. Sometimes shipments from Canada can take a bit of time, but we can assure they are worth the wait! Shipping costs from our part of the world can be higher than domestic costs in the US, and particularly within Canada. Please donÂ't be shy about asking for a quote before you bid.

We will insure your purchases in transit on request at $1.50 per $100 value ($100 value minimum). We will self-insure up to $20.00 value maximum.

Payment

Payment is expected within 7 days of auction closing. We prefer PayPal, but will accept INTERNATIONAL money orders. Personal cheques are a problem for everyone, as they can take weeks to clear, and your shipment will be accordingly delayed. Any questions we havenÂ't answered? Ask us!!
