1 Arcturus Blue 124 Vacuum Tube RARE Vintage 1920’s Tetrode This used tube has been tested for mutual conductance. On my Hickok TV-7 tester it reads 51. A reading of 25 would represent the minimum recommended value. This used Arcturus brand tube is from 1920’s USA production. The base and grid cap are tight. Collectors agree that the 1920’s Arcturus blue tubes are something special. They are quite scarce, of high quality and certainly look great in any chassis. The 124 (aka 24, 24A, 124A, 224, 324, 424) is a screen-grid tetrode and is primarily used as an RF amplifier tube. Millions of 1920’s and 1930’s radios used versions of the 24.
