Height: 12cm/ 5" Weight: 470g/ 1 lb This Nativity was made and signed by a known Argentine Artist called Mario Mendoza. He lives in San Salvador de Jujuy capital of the Province, located 1500km North of Argentina. After 20 years of experience he makes beautiful figures representing different local ethnic groups and their traditions. He uses natural clays that he collect from mountains in Jujuy, working with 32 natural shades. He makes unique Nativities of different ethnic communities like Kollas (this one), Onas, Yamanas, Tehuelches and also Gauchos scenes from 1800. His scenes are all unique pieces.
