VINTAGE Argus 300 35mm Slide Projector, Excellent Condition This is from my aunt's estate. She had a some nice stuff that she probably always meant to use, but never got around to it.There's only so much a person can get done in 92 years. This projector doesn't seem to have been used much, if at all. Very clean inside. I cleaned the case, which was dusty & soiled from years of storage. The case could still use some more cleaning. This projector appears identical to Airequipt projectors of the period, and will take Airequipt slide magazines. I tested the feed with the included Argus aluminum magazine & slide holders, and found it unreliable. I am including one Airequipt 36 slide magazine, which fed reliably and smoothly. This auction also includes one new projection bulb, which I tested for a few seconds and found that it worked. There is also an extra feed gate, which is probably for single slides without the magazine. This is a heavy, solid piece of made-in-U.S.A. vintage photographic technology. I have 3 additional Airequipt trays in a separate auction.
