The greatest relic in all antiquity, sacred to three religions and over three billion people. T is probably no other artifact in history that has garnered more awe and fascination than the Ark of the Covenant. Conceived, designed and built to hold the Tablets of the Lord (The Ten Commandments), the Ark was also used as a weapon striking down the enemies of God when carried into battle by the ancient Israelites.

Later, by the will of King David to house the Ark in a permanent location, it would be the inspiration and purpose for the Temple of Solomon.

The Ark of the Covenant Replica is solid metal and plated with a metallic gold finish. It sits atop a bronze finished metal stand with black felt bottom. It measures 4-1/2 inches long, 2-1/4 inches wide and 3 inches high and weighs over 1/2 pound!

The Accessories included are as follows:

1. The Tablets of the Lord (The Ten Commandments) - Cast in solid lead-free pewter the tablets are sculpted to appear antique and worn with age. They are engraved in Pre-Canaanite which preceded Hebrew and is, according to the best authorities, the language in which the original tablets were probably written. They translate as follows:

I AM THE LORD THY GOD. THOU SHALT HAVE NO OTHER GODS BEFORE ME. THOU SHALT NOT MAKE UNTO THEE ANY GRAVEN IMAGE. THOU SHALT NOT TAKE THE NAME OF THE LORD THY GOD IN VAIN. REMEMBER THE SABBATH DAY, TO KEEP IT HOLY. HONOR THY FATHER AND THY MOTHER. THOU SHALT NOT KILL. THOU SHALT NOT COMMIT ADULTERY. THOU SHALT NOT STEAL. THOU SHALT NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS AGAINST THY NEIGHBOUR. THOU SHALT NOT COVET.

2. Cloth Wraps - Included are two simulated cloth wraps to cover the tablets with when placed in the Ark. It is highly unlikely that the original stone tablets were placed in the Ark unwrapped. The Ark was gold plated on the inside and any movement or friction of the tablets would have scratched and marred the inside plating.

3. Pamphlet - Also included is a small but fascinating parchment pamphlet on the Ark of the Covenant divided into ten sections as follows:
