Armada Arv 175 cm Skis w/ Bindings, UsedWhen Armada started they introduced two models- one for park and one for the steep and deep. The Armada ARV was originally the ski for the all-mountain arena and is left standing as the only model still in the line since its inception- of course with a variety of improvements. If you ski all over the mountain but ride the park on occasion, then this is the ski for you. For 2007/2008 Armada shaved weight and added more vertical stiffness with the re-designed AR Core 2 and heat-treated 2.5 Impact Edge. A generous sidecut and stiffer flex profile keeps the ARV stable at high speeds, while remaining nimble. Fully twin-tipped, lightweight, and finished with craftsmanship, the ARV is truly Armada�s high-performance all-mountain ski. AR Core 2- The outer edges of the core are more strategically targeted with a strong wood laminate, without the hardwood center you find in Armada AR Core 1. This provides durability and further weight savings. ABS Construction- Armada�s strongest and most performance based type of construction. This type of construction is more material and labor intensive than cap construction. 50/50 Base- A blend of two base materials that creates better speed for Armada�s wider skis. Sandwich Fiberglass- The perfect blend of Uni & Bi directional composite fiberglass mixed with carbon fiber stringers creates a union that provides positive edge control and precisely the right amount of torsion and pop. 2.5 Edge- These oversized edges are heat treated to Armada�s custom specifications to help minimize edge breakage and maximize durability. (185) 130-95-119 These skis are mounted with Rossignol 120 bindings. The Armada ARV Skis are sessecptable to chipping on the top sheets. Any large chipping has been repaired and filled.These are used skis and, as such, will have at a minimum, scratching to the top plates. As with many used skis, t could be minor chips or gouges along the edges, Armada's have a tendancy for the top sheet to chip a lot along the sidewalls, it does not effect the overall performance. This is a picture of the actual ski, not a stock photo. Any larger chips or gouges will have been professionally repaired by the ski shop. The skis will have been base ground and waxed prior to shipment, a $35.00 value, Free!
