We have up for auction an antique Armand Marseille bisque head doll circa 1900. She is 14 in. tall and has a newer cloth body with bisque arms. She is marked 3/0 on her neck and A.M. Co II - 98- C - DEP, Made in Germany on the back shoulder plate. The doll has an open mouth with teeth showing and blue glass eyes. She has a shallow 1/4 in. chip on the edge of her shoulder plate and t is a shallow chip under her wig. We have shown these in the close-up pictures. This doll is wearing very nice period style clothing. Her outfit is a green velvet coat and dress that has nice details, is completely lined and trimmed with lace. The dress is closed at the back with buttons and loops. She is wearing a matching headband. Her slip and pantaloons are white cotton with lace trim and the slip is closed with tiny buttons at the back. She has black knit stockings and black patent shoes. She is a very nice antique bisque head doll. We purchased this doll and her matching older sister and brother at a local estate auction so check out our other auctions.
