Ask to have it blanket wrapped. to zoom Dimensions Height Depth Width Diam Weight 74 1/2 " 23" 45" ARMOIRE Art NOUVEAU Pine COUNTRY Wardrobe CABINET We have another wonderful find in this Beautiful Antique Natural Pine Armoire. It stands about 74 1/2 Inches tall by about 45 Inches wide and has a depth of about 23 Inches which includes the outward extension of its top cornice molding. This is an armoire or wardrobe that is Eastern European in feeling and origin. It is constructed of Natural Pine and is extremely reminiscent of the work of Charles Rennie McIntosh, the Scottish the Architect who was quite influenced by the Asian style of simple forms and natural materials. His creations consisted of both strong angles, floral motifs and curved lines. We see soft elegant floral carving on the front doors, lovely curved cornice and just enough applied carved work at the front corners to complete this beautiful tableau. Our Natural Pine Armoire has a lower spacious drawer, Adjustable shelves and original hardware although it appears that the interior latches may have been replaced. This Pine Armoire has been restored to the degree that possible repairs as needed over the years, may have been made. Considering that this Armoire is quite old, it is in remarkably lovely condition. Of course it may have some minor surface wear which is always innt in Antique furniture. We do believe however, that it is these areas if and when they do exist, which is what give the charm, desirability and character to items of yesteryear.
