VERY GOOD CONDITION This sale is for a vintage hardback FIRST EDITION entitled “ The Traitor Trade ,” by J. Bernard Hutton , with 17 vintage photographic illustrations, and an Epilogue by Averell Harriman It was published by Neville Spearman of London , and is the 1963 FIRST EDITION. Stated on the front cover of the dust-jacket: “The first ever inside story of the greatest smuggling traffic the world has ever known. The story - with fully documented cases - of the men who endanger the free world's security by selling strategic goods to Communist countries, and of the fifteen nation war against them.” J. Bernard Hutton was apparently a pseudonym for Joseph Heisler, author of books on spies and communist Soviet Russia, it claims the one-time foreign editor of the Russian daily newspaper Vechernyaya Moskva.
