This Lot of brass medals includes: The Good Conduct Medal Instituted: 1941 Criteria: Exemplary conduct, efficiency and fidelity during three years of active enlisted service with the U.S. Army (1 Year during wartime) The Air Force used the Army Good Conduct Medal until they instituted their own in 1963. The Air Medal: Instituted: 1942 Criteria: Heroic actions or meritorious service while participating in aerial flight. For Marines: Current regulations do not allow numerals, stars, and V on this award at the same time. Regs allow V with Gold Star and V with numerals but stars and numerals are not allowed together The Distinguished Flying Cross Instituted: 1926 Criteria: Heroism or extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight. The bars include: Brown & Green & Red- European/African/Middle Eastern Campaign Bar Air Medal Good Conduct I added a picture of the closures in answer to all of you asking- Thanks and Happy Bidding!
