US Army Special Forces troops deployed to Vietnam in the 1960s in uniforms unsuited for the vicious guerrilla war they faced. They were allowed great leeway in their choice of uniforms and headgear for field wear. Many Special Forces troopers chose to wear uniforms of the Mitchell camouflage pattern, acquired through either US or Southeast Asian sources. This pair of US Army Vietnam Special Forces SEAL Mitchell Camo Combat Pants are in near mint condition, with the vibrant and distinct camouflage colors associated with this pattern. They feature large flap closure cargo thigh pockets, and are fully reversible from green "oak leaf" side to brown "autumn clouds" pattern camouflage. The autumn clouds pattern is nearly identical to the camouflage used by the Vietnamese National Police Field Force, and was also worn extensively by Navy SEALS. They are a size Small, produced by the famous KAMO Brand Co, and were made in the USA. They are a fine example of a rare pair of Vietnam Special Forces SEAL Mitchell Camo Combat Pants. We have shown a photo of a US Special Forces trooper in Vietnam, wearing Mitchell camo "green side out". A second photo shows Navy SEALs in Vietnam, the man using binoculars wears the "autumn clouds" side out. A great relic of "Uncle Sam In Vietnam ". Now celebrating over 10 years on eBay. and please view our other great military and aviation classics, including a pair of original, rare Vietnam ARVN Ranger ERDL Camo Combat Pants in excellent condition, constructed of lightweight cotton poplin, and ARVN QM stamped inside.
