Women also served in the US Army in WW2, serving as nurses, ferry pilots and in other capacities to free men for combat. They were issued their own specially designed version of the M-43 field uniform, including a M-43 field jacket constructed of wind and weather resistant cotton. This US Army WW2 WAC Nurse Women's M-43 Field Jacket is in very good condition, with a light, even overall fade. It is a size small and carries the original nomenclature tag, although too faded to read. A great relic of "Uncle Sam's Gals in Uniform". Now celebrating over 10 years on eBay. and please view our other great military and aviation classics, including an original pair of USMC Marine WW2 Roughout Leather Boondockers Combat Boots in excellent to near mint condition and complete with the original waxed cotton laces.
