US Army WWII 100% Original M1 Fixed Bale Schlueter 1943 - Early Production - Near Mint! Another fine example of an excellent condition, hard to find fixed bale Schlueter M1, from my personal hoard of these rare gems. Very early heat stamp is 10A. Has original OD3 straps with flat brass buckle and flat tip j-hook. These Schlueter fixed bale shells were manufactured for only a very short time in 1943. Paint is original factory and is in excellent condition, as is cork, showing hardly any wear. Interior of helmet is near pristine has some surface rust as shown, but I believe it can be cleaned. I have not touched itThank you for looking. PS - Last line of description was meant to read as follows: 'Exterior of helmet is near pristine, interior has some surface rust as shown...' Apologies. It is clear that the interior is not 'pristine' as can be seen in the photo. Thank you-
