Selling at no reserve, four teak-faced beech plywood chairs with plastic sheathed iron rubber tipped legs. This classic three-legged stacking chair was designed by Arne Jacobsen and first produced by Fritz-Hansen Denmark in 1952, the plastic sheathed leg was only available from 1952-1955. Markings: underside of chair stamped "FH (in circle) DANMARK". Measurments: 29 7/8" high x 21 1/16" wide x 23" deep. Condition: good for 50+ year old chairs, no structural problems, wear to original finish, minor indentations on side of seats from stacking (see pic), damage to plastic sheathing on one chair leg (see pic), two screws not original, some rubber tips are from later "seven" chairs and some original rubber tips are deteriorating from age and will need to be replaced, no veneer chips, no deep scratches or dark stains.The word Eames is used in the title for search purposes only. I will dissassemble and try to pack in one large box (may not be possible), no charge for packaging, buyer may pick-up or use their own shipper if they make arrangements, non-US buyer must pay through Pay-Pal or International Money-Order, New Jersey buyer add 7% sales tax.
