What a wonderful chair this is! Arne Jacobsen's Swan chair in purple suede. It is a very comfortable chair and the foam is soft. T are some small flaws in the purple suede. Please look carefully at the photos as each imperfection has been photographed. Firstly, on the seat, t are two small holes and snag. The dime in the photo will indicate dimension. Also, on one of the arms is a tiny hole. On the back of the chair, near the top seam, t are several pin prick sized holes in the fabric. All of these imperfections are miniscule in comparison to the overall excellent condition of this fantastical chair. Photos are included of the hallmarks on the chair. Interesting facts about the lovely Swan chair: THE SWAN Designed by Arne Jacobsen. In 1958 the Swan was a technologically innovative chair. No straight lines - only curves. A moulded shell of synthetic material on an aluminium star swivel base. A layer of cold foam covers the shell, and fabric of leather in a wide range of colours is added.
