A heavy-duty E 16 boxcab electric locomotive from the 1920s for the Bavarian State Railways by Arnold. One of the first successful large German electric locomotives, it formed the basis for the later E 18s that stayed in service well into the '50s. This model looks new and runs beautifully. It has directional lighting and operating pantographs. Solidly built with brass gears for a lifetime of performance. In original box, Arnold 2457. Enjoy! Yes, it costs me a few more cents to list and yes, it takes time, but it's what I would expect as a buyer. I test and inspect everything I sell. What purpose would it serve me if you got something that didn't run, or is damaged? I can't stand it when I buy something that doesn't work; why would I pollute the universe with more of the same?
