Vintage Arnold BR 41 in excellent used condition. Mechanically, it is running well, in forward and reverse. Front and rear lights are also working, independently of traveling directions. The gears and motor have been recently cleaned and oiled. Cosmetically, it’s in great shape as well, without broken parts or paint damages. Please refers to the large pictures for your own assessment. The boiler, as well as the platform, the running gears, the chassis, and the tender trucks, are made of metal At close to 5 oz, it’s a hefty engine for its size. The engine has a smoke generator, which has been tested to work. However, because the smoke generator requires fairly high voltage (close to 12V?) to work, it’s my opinion that it is best to install a DCC decoder to run the smoke generator. T is plenty of room in the tender, if the weight insert is removed/ reduced. Comes with original box and instructions. Arnold catalog number: 2510 (0251). Road number: 41 166.
