Up for bids is an authentic, pre-1900 printed fabric doll by Arnold Print Works. These dolls were sold by the yard and were cut from printed fabric and stuffed at home with old rags or straw. These have been reproduced, but this one is 100% honest and old, not a reproduction. Her name is "Tatters" and she is the full grown size, not the smaller "Little Tatters." She measure 13 inches tall by 9 inches wide. She is marked on the bottom July 5, 1892 - Oct. 4, 1892. The base is hand sewn and t is old cardboard inside so she sits well. She has been stuffed with the old lumpy batting or old rags. She has some signs of age, to include a brown stain on her lower front, and some scattered small holes. She will make a great addition to your early cloth animal collection. If you collect these animals, you will love her! Thanks for looking and please take a moment to view my updated ABOUT ME page.
