An elegant pair of vintage Art Deco Tiffany & Co small pin trays, styled as two simple convex picture frames, with mitered corners. These pieces were made during the directorship of John C. Moore ll, who ran Tiffany between 1907 and 1947. As They carry the stylized M used by him during this period engraved as part of the company mark . The company mark also has the engraved series/ style number 20958 Which was issued in 1927, so they were made at the height of the Art Deco period. The pin trays measure 2 3/4" x 2 1/8" (7 x 5.25 cm) and are about 1/4" (0.63 cm) deep.The pin trays weigh 52 grams = 1.67 troy Oz. They are in good condition no dents but some very light feint scratches commensurate with age and, light use. I photographed each tray on the same stand in the same light so you can see they are identical, pictures 2 & 3.
