This auction is for an adorable vintage Art deco era bakelite / catalin Tykie Toy crib toy in its original cardboard box. It comes with the original paper booklet: A story of the Tykie Toy (Piqua, Ohio). This toy's name is Peepo the clown. The booklet lists all the crib toys in color and by name and number. This is number 70. The crib toy comes in 3 colors: olive green, light yellow and butterscotch. All original. The toy measures about 4" long not counting the string. The box is 4 1/4" by 3 1/4" by 1" tall. This set is in wonderful condition, near mint. T are no chips, cracks or surface wear to the bakelite. I noticed only one eyebrow on the crib toy's face to be missing except for one little black spot left. The cardboard box is excellent condition with original label. Some pencil marks on the underside of the box. Paper booklet is also in excellent condition. Guaranteed bakelite and tested.
