An ORIGINAL ANTIQUE PAIR of EARRINGS that was made in the ART DECO style during the 1920s. They are HANDMADE from 18K GOLD and PLATINUM. The earrings are set with 2 EUROPEAN CUT DIAMONDS of H color, VS & SI clarity that weigh approx. .50 ctw., along with 2 OLD CUT DIAMONDS of H color, SI clarity that weigh approx. .18 ctw. They are also set with 8 ROSE CUT DIAMONDS that weigh approx. .10 ctw. and 2 NATURAL BLACK ONYX DROPS. The earrings measure 1 9/16âe long, not including the wire, by just over 3/8âe at the widest point. The total weight is 4.4 grams. The back of the top diamonds have solder marks w the wire is attached. I think these were originally post earrings and the wires were later added.
