This art deco German porcelain lady figural decanter is dressed in a bright red topless dress that is decorated with a pierrot which is raised up from the skirt. She has the (William) Goebel crown GW mark impressed twice into her bottom with one of these marks having added color atop of it. KL827 and DEP are also impressed into the bottom of this risque young lady. I understand this dates from 1923 to 1937. This flapper bottle's dark dreamy bedroom eyes literally have an empty vacant look as they are actually holes in her head! (I never realized this until I took the pictures!) This vintage bottle figure in her tres chic deco bobbed haircut measures approximately 9 1/4" or 23cm tall. The cork in her head is a tad worn from age/ use making her head a wee bit wobbley but if no one walks around shaking her violently the cork should remain in place and she will hold her head up fine. T are no cracks but this is a small chip on the rim of the bottom part of the decanter toward the back that cannot be seen when displayed. T is a wee paint flake on her hair that caught the flash (enlarged picture of her head) and appears to be much worse than it is. Hopefully you will be able to tell by the other pictures just how minute it is and can barely be seen in person. This lady bottle figurine really is absolutely stunning! She would made a lovely addition to several types of collections that include not only art deco barware but half doll, powder jars and perfume bottles as well!
