Be sure to add me to your favorites list ! This art deco nouveau figural powder box is marked on the bottom with the Serpaut, Limoges, France stamp. Through much research on French Limoges I have learned this stamp was used between 1923 and 1930. The lady is beautifully hand painted with great detail including the wee mole or beauty mark on her face. The jar measures approximately 6" tall and has no chips or cracks. The powder box has a few wee spots/ flecks of the expected paint loss that do not detract and are merely mentioned for accuracy. This antique rare powder jar figurine would make a wonderful addition to your collection or simply as a stunning decorative stand alone piece for your bedroom or vanity!
