Vintage Black Amethyst Glass Art DecoDouble Handled Center Bowl with Sterling Silver Overlay Up for auction is a stunning vintage Black Amethyst Glass Two-Handled Bowl with Silver Overlay. It has a boat-shaped profile and curving Art Deco lines. It measures 12" across the handles by 8-1/4" wide, by 3-1/2" high at the ends. It is heavily decorated with sterling silver around the rim and handles, and with elaborate scrolling foliate cartouches around the inside. Marked STERLING on one handle. View of the bottom. Condition: The bowl is in virtually mint condition with no chips, cracks or visible loss to the silver. I found a single 1/4" fine scratch in the well and that's all.
