Art Deco Bohemian Peacock Foil Glass Bead Necklace Beautiful and stunning blue and green Bohemian peacock foil necklace. The beads have a brown glass base and have bands of beautiful blue and green glass encased foil which have an amazing colour shift to them as they catch the light. These are old beads, dating to the 1920s, and were made in the old Kingdom of Bohemia the modern day Czech Republic. The colours are absolutely stunning. The necklace is measures just over 14 3/4 inches, that's 37 cms, but I could extend it with a little more rolled gold if so desired. Each bead is around 7mm diameter, with the back beads a little smaller. The beads are in excellent condition with just one damaged bead. The necklace is set on rolled gold and finished with an old shepherd's crook fastener, so typically 1920s. These are very high quality beads, with beautifully opulent and vivid colours.
