Offered is this wonderful antique Art Deco Bridge Floor Lamp with lovely night light and gorgeous slag glass shade with wonderful beaded fringe. All in excellent condition. When lighted it is just gorgeous !!! The shade is in perfect condition- no chips, nicks or cracks and no missing fringe and the glass has a nice luster to it... I have had this lamp and shade cleaned and rewired and works perfectly. It has a 3 way socket, so you can have a lot or little light as you desire. The shade sits securly on a harp and topped off with the original white glass and brass ball finial. The bridge arm can extend out for positional lighting and the lamp is quite sturdy. It has an ornately design base with 6 feet and what looks like acanthus leaves all around and has a large piece of agate-marble nicely veined that is lighted by a foot switch on the base. It lights the agate and also casts light from underneath the base ( not showing up in my pictures very well since they were taken during the day). The vein coloring compliments the beaded fringe beautifully. This old lamp has a very substantial weight- I believe this lamp is a mixed metal as a magnet sticks to some parts but not all.. The lampshade is included in this auction and comes with the original brass and matching white glass finial. All the metal has a nice aged patina. This treasure is in excellent vintage conditon. I have a very reasonable reserve on this vintage treasure. Ht. from base to top of globe finial 55 1/2" Bridge arm can rotate 360 degrees for positional lighting and when fully extended is 14" Base 11" very strudySlag -Stain Glass Globe is 9" high plus 3" of beautiful beaded fringeThe shade will be shipped separately for safety.Safe shiping is my priority ---This will be double boxed top and bottom- wrapped in all new large bubble and encased in styrafoam to insure safety in shipping.
