Art Deco Cast Iron Nutcracker Arcade of Freeport Excellent Condition, 1930's, PN# 9574, felt is missing on bottom. Art Deco style nutcracker offered by Arcade (the famous toy company) of Freeport, Illinois The body of the nut cracker is black with 3 red stripes, and the handle also has red stripes and a bright red ball at the end. To operate, you move the handle to open the sliding section, insert a nut, and then close it again. In the closed position it is about 10.5" long and 4.5" high and 2" wide.
