CLASSIC ART DECO CEDAR HOPE CHEST IN GREAT CONDITION
This is a wonderful stylish Art Deco period classic waterfall hope cedar chest. It was made by the Cavalier Company in the late thirties or early fourties. The finish is original, but has had a coat of oil stain to feed the finish and to perk up some light scratches that were on the surface...and a light coat of semi gloss poly was applied. One piece of missing molding was replaced and a small section of veneer was repaired. The enterior is like new and smells real "cedarery". Overall original condition is excellent and everything works. It is 43" wide 26 1/2" high and 19 1/2" deep. It would make a great addition to your home decor or a great gift for that someone saving for that special day. Please ask questions before bidding and good luck.
