Art Deco dancer, SchauBach Kunst figurine,Germany It is a figurine full of grace and beauty and eroticism of a blonde blue eyed woman in a pale green and white flowing skirt , bare midriff and ruffled top . Hand painted in soft colors this beautiful figurine is made with amazing details, depicting the movement of the dress, gracious body ,the beautiful face, hair style and make-up typical for the period . The decoration is a finish of white /pale green glazed clothing and flesh colored biscuit limbs. The base is trimmed with grayish line and has a painted white flower . Model number 1202, marked by the logo of SchauBach Kunst . Attributed to the modeler Kurt Steiner and signed on the base. During World War II men of these factories were in and out of business, maybe just opened for two years or so. It is shown in Schroder's Antique Price Guide 2001 under Rosenthal and was most probably made in the 40s and only for several years, so who owned the factory, Schaubach -Kunst or Rosenthal? This is for a special collector of quality porcelains, she is beautiful. Condition : Good, no visual damages or restorations of any sort . Factory markings showing inferiority of the item couldn't be found ...some areas of the figurine may require slight cleaning with soap solution. Will be packed into double box.
