THIS WONDERFUL THREE DRAWER TABLE CANTEEN HAS JUST COME IN AND IS WELL WORTH OWNING!!!!! Here we have a quite exceptional 67 PIECE OLD ENGLISH pattern canteen of solid silver cutlery for 12 place settings.Hallmarks are deep and clear to all pieces. This extensive set is of exceptional quality and is a most impressive huge suite of table silver.Weight of actual silver is a staggering 3850 grams (123.79 troy ounces)!! Each silver piece is made of thick gauge silver throughout. All pieces are assayed in Sheffield,1931 by high quality makers James Deakin & Sons.Year letters o/p. Comprises: 12 dessert spoons-7 inches in length-672 grams combined 12 dessert forks-6.75 inches in length-684 grams combined 6 serving spoons-8.75 inches in length-492 grams combined 12 dinner forks-8 inches in length-972 grams combined 12 soup spoons-7.375 inches in length-756 grams combined 12 teaspoons-5.25 inches in length-252 grams combined 1 sugar tongs-4.375 inches in length-22 grams ALL THE ABOVE 67 PIECES ARE VERY HEAVY GAUGE ITEMS. In the bottom drawer are: Pair of silver plated fish servers 6 silver plate fish forks-7 inches in length 6 silver plate fish knives-8.125 inches in length Also included are the following knives with JAMES DEAKIN & SONS SHEFFIELD stainless steel blades and man made handles: 12 tea knives-6.875 inces in length 12 dessert knives-8 inches in length 12 dinner knives-9.125 inches in length 2 piece accessories set A truly beautiful,crisp and most wonderful George V set which is in absolutely fantastic condition.. The table itself is a real cracker and made of mahogany.The wood has a lovely rich colour and all three drawers have a working lock. And i even have the key!
