This is a beautiful older vintage (art deco era, 1920's to 30's c) heavy bracelet. Made of sterling silver with hand carved green onyx stones. Unlike the later tourist stuff, stones will test genuine or total refund guarenteed. (Upon proper inspection, true onyx stone will have hardness of 6.5 with parallel straight bands ). Beautifully Taxco Mexican custom made. It's marks pre-date eagle marks and were commonly used during the pre-40's . Hallmarks and marks are: "STERLING, 0925, TAXCO, HECHO EN, MEXICO. Also, marked "DF" WITHOUT eagle mark (some of the eagle marked stuff with DF mark may be repro or even fake, so please be on alert). Bracelet is original and highly collectible. Has beautiful detail. On the face carvings, it has loupes hanging from ears , so you can add charms but looks fine without adding them. Will fit most women up to a size 7 1/ 8 inch wrist. Though it's body measures 7 1/8 inches long, it's links have some curve and due to the hinges are adjustable, these 2 factors gives alittle extra room. Link widths are nearly 1 1/4 inch by 1 /18 inch. Bracelet is very heavy. Weighs: 64.4 grams. It's slide clasp works fine, locks and secures well. In excellent vintage condition.
