Features: This is a very nice older vintage (art deco era , early 1900's) very super heavy bead necklace . ALL made of sterling silver with clasp portion having heavy precious rhodium plating over its sterling . Hallmarked "STERLING". Beautifully hand crafted with very impressive smith workmanship in an eye catching thick bead graduated design for comfort. Graduated means beads are larger from center and becoming gradually smaller toward ends which helps reduce tension of rear neck. Well made . Beads strung on strong inner chain with both ends soldered shut to clasp. Has earlier type slide hook clasp for easy and reliable secured fastening . It's very super heavy . Weighs 100.4 grams . It came from our family heirloom's earlier 1900's jewelry collection . It was very well kept and in excellent condition. Measurements: Length is 24 inches. Bead widths range from 2/3 inch (as in 16 mm in diameter) to 1/2 inch , and nearly 1/3 inch at ends (as in 8.5 mm). Hallmarks and Marks: "STERLING" on fastening loupe and "STERLING" on clasp. Guarantee: As a jeweler and retired precious metals tester for refinery , I re-assure that it will all test sterling (as marked) or total refund.
