I bought this clock some 12+ yrs ago & it hung in our living room for a long time. There is no makers mark I'm afraid, not sure of it's origin. Saw another 1 like in in Jan that came from France. It chimes if I remember correctly, every half hour & every hour. It comes with a key that's marked from England & the back of the pendulum is marked Depose. We took it down because the hour hand got bumped & hangs loose now. Since I am no clock repair person, I leave it to the experts. It has 2 bottom push away's to balance it on the wall for proper running, meaning they screw out to balance it. There is a small screw in type piece in 1 of the picks, we always assumed it went on the end of the pendulum, your call. A simple mechanism inside, please see pics. It is large, measuring 11 1/4 inches wide, 25 1/2 inches tall & 6 1/4 inches deep. The wood has not been restored or even polished in a long time. The front has 2 sections of glass, the top piece has had tape applied on the inside to hold glass in place. Pendulum has a wooden arm with a chrome colored octagon shaped head. Asking what I paid. Clock weighs 9 1/2 lbs alone, about 11 1/2 lbs packed in bubble wrap & peanuts. 10 % of ALL my sales goes to the ASPCA. Any questions, please email prior to bidding. Fast & fair shipping, no handling charges ever. I quote shipping coast to coast so
