NO RESERVE! ART DECO Milk Glass Slip Shade Chrome SCONCES Up for auction is an absolutely gorgeous pair of Art Deco wall sconces. Each original Machine Age fixture has a chrome base with light bulb socket, and a thin chrome band to secure the tall, round slip shade. Each fixture assembled, measures 14 ¼" tall and extends 3" from the wall. The ridged, Empire style white milk glass shades measure 13 ½" long with a 2" diameter, and have a very sleek, streamlined shape, typical of the Art Deco Era. This fabulous 1930's set is in very good original condition with some age noted to the chrome (base and band are very clean, the plate behind the shade has hazing/pitting) and the original cloth wiring. The shades have just a couple tiny chips on the end (1 on one shade, 2 on the other), not visible at all when in place. This pair of lights will make a stunning addition to your décor!
