Running these across your hand makes you think King Midas and his golden touch ! The beads are of leaded gold crystals, each one finely faceted in a slight oblong shape and measuring 5mm(1/8+") in diameter. They are in their original condition, being strung with the old black triple stranded string thread and attach at back with their vintage brass spring clasp. Weighty....yet delicate...they are most durable and in impeccable condition. Their facets allow light to refract in a myriad of rays and if the gold wears thin, you would be apt to find a black mirror beneath. These however, have been well maintained throughout the past century and do not show any sign of sparking down. The accompanying earrings are 5/8" in diameter and fine polished crystal cuts in the mirror lead are superbly ART DECO . Like little square mirrors, the fine cuts dome downward and are smoothly finished at edges. The width of the edge itself is 1/8" and the width of the earring is 3/8" from edge to center top of dome. The old fine scalloped edged clip back is in perfect condition and all metal is of nickle and brass. A solid pair and beautifully created in the early 1920's. The gold lead crystal necklace is also from the early 1920's of Czechoslovakia. The touch of King Midas himself could not produce a more elegant mirrored set! beautiful with black +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Seller charges a flat fee of $6.00 for airmail, certified and insured postage and handling.
