Be sure to add me to your favorites list ! This antique art deco lady wall mask is very lightly insised/impressed on the back with England. Due to age and I suspect the rubbing against the wall if t is any other mark it is too difficult to read. This was originally purchased as a 1930's wall mask made by Cope & Co and I have no reason to believe it wasn't. I have masks similar to this that I am able to discern the C mark but then again I am not an expert! This hand painted blond haired lady wearing a black hat measures approximately 7 1/2" long and has no chips. T is the expected clean clear crazing that does not detract in the least. T is also a faint line on the back coming from the "hole" in the 11 o'clock position as seen in the blown-up picture. (line is actually 8 o'clock) When purchased I was told this was a stress mark/crack from when it was made as opposed to a hairline. I will let you decide but this line has not moved an iota in all the years I have owned it. Because it is unseen I had completely forgotten about it until now. This art deco lady wall mask is beautiful and would be lovely in any room of your home! This is from my personal collectionS that I am slowly but surely down-sizing. Please check out my other items !. I would be happy to wait for payment in order to combine items (over a period of 2 weeks+ and ONE payment) to save shipping costs. Thank you! Winning bidder! Please wait for a personal invoice from me. I will not have the exact shipping costs/weight until the item is properly packaged. USPS shipping may be less and UPS shipping is always less than calculated estimate !|
