Signed by the artist, E. Rauche, and marked Limoges France on bottom, is a wonderful example of French art deco from the 20's. A well dressed and sophisticated woman with hunting rifle bends down next to her resting hunting dog. The piece is very Robj like in the hand painting and styling, with simple detailing on the face but great attention paid to her dress, bag, hunting socks, shoes, etc. The dog is delightful as he rests beside her. T is a great sense of movement to the piece, the way it is designed and painted. The piece is white with gold trim and various accent colors. Two factory holes in the back suggest the piece was a perfume lamp or night light at one point and could easily return to that function if you desired. The piece is 9 inches tall and the base is 6 1/2 inches long. In mint condition. A real beauty. Please ask questions. No refunds or returns.
