After several years and several hundred very successful Antique European linens auctions, I became busy last year with a different division of our business(art shows).I am back for a brief holiday offering of beautiful linens. All pieces came direct from German estates and were hand picked for unique and excellent handwork, beauty and condition.These can create a very special holiday table for you or be a precious gift to someone as well. A large square pure linen tablecloth with bold hand embroidered gold and blackwork hand done embroidery and is from Germany. This handsome piece measures 46 by 46 inches. The linen on it is sturdy, textured and very quality, better than is found today. The crochet border is a full 3inches deep. The designs are very much Art Deco which places this cloth in the late 30's. Beautiful one of a kind piece for your table or buffet, this is a handsome piece for a man of taste as well(have had many male linens customers, especially on Art Deco pieces, which I specialize in on my linens auctions, they are rare). Gently laundered and pressed and ready for your holiday table or for a very special one of a kind gift. Please email any questions.
