This is a beautiful art deco/machine age chandelier circa 1930's. It has been completely re-wired and is ready to hang.When I got this fixture it was dirty, full of various types of bug debris and the metal was corroded and tarnished. However, the glass shades were all intact and in good condition.I cleaned the metal parts and replaced some that were beyond repair (the chrome balls and some of the chrome disks). I installed all new phenolic sockets, rebuilt and rewired the original switch, and installed all new wiring. I also replaced the original (rusted) chain.The brass ceiling canopy was in corroded and tarnished and could not be polished. So, in removing the corrosion with a wire brush, the canopy was left with this really cool copper/brass effect that goes really well with the space-age aesthetics of the chandelier.The brass finial at the base of the chandelier is also the on-off switch.The glass shades are in overall good condition and are free from breaks and cracks. There are, however, a few chips on the inside rim of some of the shades. These do not affect the looks of the fixture because the chips can only be seen from above.I do not know who made the chandelier. I could not find any manufacturer information anywhere. One of the shades does have the remnants of a "MADE IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA" mark on its rim.The chandelier measures
