Fresh from a fine local estate comes and absolutely AMAZING art deco Bohemian glass vase. This is without a doubt one of the most striking pieces of glass I have EVER owned. The workmanship and design are quite exceptional . The vase most definitely has a Wiener Werkstatte feel to it. The inner body of the vase is composed of an amber colored glass. When the vase was initially produced, the outer portion of the vase was covered with a thin layer of glass that is somew between cranberry and coral in color. The vase was then cut and polished back exposing the amber glass in some areas. The amount of time it must have taken to produce this piece is mind boggling. The vase measures approx 3" wide x 2 3/8" deep x 12" high. It is in amazing condition with the only issue to report being a tiny nick on one corner of the base(this could easily be polished out by a professional if desired). The piece is most definitely the quality of Moser, although unsigned. Feel free to email me with any questions. Buyer to pay $14.00 shipping and handling anyw in the US.
